John’s song REUSE is featured in the latest Maverik Lacrosse commercial campaign ‘Evolve the Player, Advance the Game’. The commercial first debuted during ESPNU’s season opener between Towson University and Johns Hopkins University on Friday, February 17th and will air throughout EPSN, ESPN2 and ESPNU’s coverage of the 2012 men’s lacrosse season. The Future is Here features a roster of Maverik athletes, including Peet Pollion, Joe Cinosky, John Christmas, and Billy Bitter.

REACH FOR THE SKY has won multiple festival honors including the Gold Remi award 44th annual Worldfest Houston International Film Festival and  the Texas Heritage Award for its historical representation of 19th century Texas. The film premiered at the Dallas Texfest to a sold out screening at the Angelika Theatre.

John Kasiewicz composed and produced the original score.

Earlier this year, John was selected as one of nine emerging film composers to participate in BMI’s “Composing for the Screen 2010: A Film Scoring Mentorship Program,” held from September 16 through October 20 at the BMI offices in Manhattan, New York.
